EBC Double-H pads are the grippiest street legal brake pads you can buy.  Europe's first and only ECE R90 approved pad.
When EBC broke into the sintered pad market, it really did its homework. We took all the current market offerings, tested them, analysed them and beat them. We removed the iron powders commonly used in many sintered pads that cause the pad to "weld" to the disc under corrosion when the bike is parked and replaced it with stainless powder.
EBC took out several other particles which our competitors still use which caused massive disc damage and created our launch material.After five years and millions of sets sold EBC upgraded the formulation again to their SB101C material which completely eliminated BRAKE NOISE, improved the pads HEAT CYCLING CAPABILITY and improved feel. What EBC has today for the faster rider is the pinnacle of sintered copper alloy engineering, researched and tested in EBC's own laboratories by engineers with over 50 years experience in sintered pad technology.

EBC Brakes welcomes the new legislation on ECE R90 brake safety testing that shuts the door on unworthy parts. Until recently all EBC Brakes were tested by the notorious German TUV test centres and carried the KBA (German Motor Vehicle Organisation) certification number. EBC Brakes is pleased to announce that after extensive multi-model testing at the MIRA (Motor Industries Research Association) test track located at Nuneaton, UK.

"Stunning performance straight from the packet, I swear you can feel your brain pushing your eyeballs out of their sockets! This is the second set I’ve had as the bike came with the first set which have covered over 5000 miles hard braking there is still life in them however they’ve started to fade a little so I changed them and O.M.G. what a change, stops you from 170mph to 30mph like nothing else and the harder you use them the better they get. Price was good only a few extra quid than standard but well worth it. Rear set was out of stock, got to wait two days. Can’t wait to get rid of the standard one’s which look like they were made from old flipflops and worked as good too!"

"I put your Double H pads on my ’08 FJR a week and a half ago. Tonight, riding home at dusk, a deer ran across the road in front of me. I clamped on the brakes and missed the deer by 6 inches in front of me. If I hadn’t changed the pads, I definitely would have hit it. Great product!"
