For over a decade we've offered rare Hungarian proof restrike coins to our customers.  All were purchased in Budapest and assembled at the time of issue approximately 50 years ago.  Once again we're pleased to offer one of our favorite coins from the collection - a crown size silver proof 5 Krona designed to mark the Hungarian millennium in 1896. This coin was purchased directly from the Hungarian Foreign Trading Company (ARTEX) and is being offered exactly as issued for the first time.  This is the lowest price we've ever offered on this rare Limited Mintage cameo proof. We photographed this coin against different backgrounds and under varying lighting conditions to assist you with your evaluation. Additionally the photos zoom in quite well allowing you to view this coin under extreme magnification.
