Antique Oak French Stairwell Newell Post Finials from the late 1800’s - early 1900’s. The set comes with 6 total - one meant for the wall, 4 for the staircase and another for the landing (you can see from the pictures aprx. 1.5” piece separated but you have them both and can fix upon use) Pictured is the deed of the house they were taken from in Lakewood Ohio. The original owner was a Ship’s Captain on the Great Lakes from that same time period. Very cool backstory, really paints the picture of when these finials were attached to the staircase and this Captain grabbing onto them as he went up the stairs after a long voyage on the Great Lakes.
1 is 9.5” high & 6” across
1 is 9” high & 4.5” across
3 are 8.5” high & 4” across
Wall mounted is 7” high & 4” across
Minor damage on the wall mount, you have the full base to the other and the 4 are in absolutely excellent shape.
