    Description

    This beautiful little cradle belonged to my mother who would be over 100 now. I am not sure of its exact age. I used to play with it with my dolls. My mother covered the mattress area with fabric, and I recently removed it due to weathering. I left the padding in place. The bottom piece (the piece with the white padding) slides around a little - back and forth, front to back - I think the fabric used to be thick enough to hold it in place or maybe the screws just need to be tightened. It is secure as in not going anywhere - it just slides back and forth. It looks like this piece is newer and also the screws look newer to me. One rocking piece looks like it has had something added to it or maybe not (see pic 7) It is in very nice condition for its age. It measures apprx 18.5" long x 9" wide x 9.5" high. Please zoom in and study pictures for details/condition. I am not an expert.
