EZGO TXT Golf Cart Battery Cable Set 4 Gauge
One set of seven 4 gauge battery cables for EZGO 36 volt series cart with 6 six (6x6) volt battery setup.  These wires are made from premium 4 gauge welding wire.  The connectors are 4 x 5/16 tinned solid copper lugs. I don't use cheap connectors on my big gauge wires!  Make sure you don't get the big gauge wire with crappy little connectors like so many here on eBay do!  Also, some sellers claim that cables don't come with heat shrink from the factory and thus argue that they shouldn't have it.  Well, that is because the factory uses open end crimp style lugs.  They do this as it is cheaper!  I use closed end cables that are designed specifically for soldered cables.  After soldering, the heat shrink seals the cable and keeps corosion out!  Anybody who says not using heat shrink is better, or that crimping is better is not well educated in battery cable technology!! This set includes "tinned" lugs. Bare copper lugs can be added to the price at .50 cent each.....since there are 7 wires there are 14 connectors so bare copper would be an additional total on top of auction price! Each wire is made custom in my golf cart shop by me.  Each one is soldered using silver solder connections, and then sealed with quality heat shrink to help prevent future corrosion issues.  There are 7 wires included; Four (4) six inch cables, One (1) 10 inch cable, one (1) 28" and one (1) 36".   The 28" and 36" are your main positive and negative battery connections. Some sellers have shorter cables, they won't fit under the stock controller box....Other sellers are selling longer cables for the same setup......so they can charge you more.  Welding wire is commonly sold by the foot, so the longer the wire you buy the higher the price. Your factory EZGO cables are made as short as possible, why make them longer?  More wire means the current has to run through greater resistance in order to reach its final destination, your motor.  The reason we upgrade from the factory 6 gauge is to get better flow with less resistance to get the best possible results in battery life, and to increase potential speed and torque......why make your battery pack work harder sending the current through more wire and greater resistance???  I build custom carts all day long.  I service all makes and models, all day long.  I always use the shortest possible battery cables for many reasons, but the two main reasons are 1) to save my customer money 2) to help maintain quality battery pack lifespan and function.  If you need or want a different size, just ask and I can custom make you a set of any length you desire.  I have sets for all battery configurations, and for controller to motor or controller to solenoid or for all power wires in the cart power system.  I will include a diagram for the battery configuration in this auction to aid you in your install, should you forget which wires go where and I am always available via email for assistance in installation.  Any questions just ask!  Shipping will be via USPS Flate rate envelope, which I include FREE! The different battery manufacturers have slightly different designs in their posts.  Some are further apart than others.  If you have an odd design it could change the needed length.  Please make sure you have a common set of batteries with normal post design!
Due to constant supply chain price increases for copper, I have had to increase my pricing structure by a couple dollars per set.  This is already in the price you see here.  I have absorbed price increases for several years with only 1 increase since 2014, however at this time I can no longer absorb anymore with the also increasing price of shipping and the astronomical fees of paypal and ebay.  Please remember, my cable kits are of the highest quality using only premium cable, lugs and silver solder.  You can find cheaper cables on ebay, but you won't find the quality of service or product that I offer anywhere else.  My 100% positive rating speaks for itself.  I sell the highest quality cable with the best after the sale service in the market, bar none.
