Large Antique Vintage 1920's-1930's Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture with Frosted Cut Glass Shade
Very nice old hanging light. Frosted Round Glass Shade with a cut glass flower starburst design. There is some roughness/small chipping around the fitter edge of the shade (photo 12). There is some white paint droplet splatter on it and some light surface scratches at some spots. I am not sure what the metal part of the light fixture is. A magnet does NOT attract to any of it. Signs of natural aged patina, some light surface scratches on it. The 4 ornate arms seem more like a more durable/heavier metal then the round smooth sides/top of fixture. The one arm is just a little loose/has a slight wiggle compared to the other 3. There are a few (6) small cracks on the metal top edge of the fixture (example photo 11 and you can see one in photo 3). I'm not sure of the purpose for the small holes in the 4 arms unless that piece could have been used to fasten directly to the ceiling at one point. However with the top piece attached this actually hangs.
I find no maker names on it.
Measurements: The 4 arms tips measure 15" apart. Fitter on the shade is 9 7/8" in diameter. From top of ring to hang it from to the bottom of the shade measures 11 1/4" tall.  Weighs 6 pounds 5 ounces (prior to packaging)
