Description
Very Early Antique Victorian Ice Cream Scoop, c.1870 - 1880D
ESCRIPTION:
Scans show it all.....particularly nice, particularly early antique ice cream scoop. from the Victorian period, c. 1870 - 1880. Fabricated from heavy metal, it has a large, conical, bell-shaped cup/scoop on the end. Scoop is 3" diameter x 3 1/2" tall. Fancy handle on the top would be turned manually, turning the "paddles" inside the cup and releasing the ice cream. Attached wire handle makes it 8" long overall.
One of the nicer ones, and earliest ones I have seen.
In excellent condition, with super looking aged patina!!! A great decorating item for the kitchen or hearth, or with an antique ice box or a variety of other areas.
All complete, in excellent condition, and could still be used! The conical cup type are the earliest and hardest to find, and this is a nice early one.
PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
